This donation will help us offer a series of heavily subsidised/free day trips to some of our most vulnerable families over the summer holidays. Taking these families out of their day-to-day lives and encouraging them to have fun without being concerned about finances for even a couple of days over the holiday period hugely positively impacts the children and the family as a whole. For many, this will be the only opportunity they have to make memories and meaningful connections this year. Some of our community members can afford to pay for their day trips, albeit at a heavily subsidised rate. plus lunch and snacks, ensuring the same experience as their peers for those families that would otherwise miss out.
