On 10th December 2024 Lochlan accepted provisions to the Foodbank of non-perishable, tinned and dried foods – including breakfast cereal, soup, rice, baked beans, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, UHT milk, diluting juice and tinned dessert. A typical food parcel offered by the Foodbank, to individuals and families who are in need, contains a minimum of three days of nutritionally balanced food.
He was also presented with a cheque for £1,000 as a contribution to the running costs of the van. The van and volunteer drivers play a fundamental role in the running of the Foodbank. They collect food donations from a variety of locations as well as delivering the sorted food parcels from the warehouse to the distribution centres.
